As a child John had a desire to become an auctioneer. From the age of six he practiced his call by auctioning his father's cows while helping with the milking. A strong work ethic was established early, as those who know John personally can testify. By the age of fifteen John had called his first public auction and a real auctioneer was born!
While conducting a successful auction business, John 'gives back' to the community by volunteering his auction services. For many years he has helped organizations including the local PBS televised auctions, Ball Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, The Lion's Club, Ball State University, Historic Farmland USA, and when in Haiti he held a benefit auction to drill a fresh water well.
